Fractal Tune Smithy includes various playback patterns (historical, modern, ethnic, exotic) where you can play scales from the PC keyboard, as if it were a piano.

Also, you can send musical postcards, showing the Koto scale (where all the touches sound good), change the tone of the compositions, change the tone of the MIDI files, play chord progressions, play waves, etc.
